The following excavator operation fuel saving tips are the results of long-term practical work. They are shared with you and are based on daily construction conditions.

1.Avoid idling the engine

Even when idle, the hydraulic pump still has oil circulating and consumes fuel. Suppose that 1 hour of 10 hours in a day is idle. So, if you can avoid idling, you can save about 230 liters of fuel per year. So, when you can stop for a long time halfway through the daily loading or excavation process, try not to drive the machine at idle speed "wait."

2.Avoid overload dropout
When the sand or rock excavated is overloaded, the excavation may fall into decompression mode. Assuming that 6 minutes out of 10 hours in a day is decompression mode, If the down pressure can be avoided, then about 840 liters of diesel can be saved each year. Problems that cannot be handled with a shovel can be divided into two, otherwise it will cost both machine and oil, and the small loss will be greater.

3.Decrease engine speed
Placing the engine throttle in the economical position, although reducing the engine speed will affect the amount of work, it can greatly reduce fuel consumption and improve fuel efficiency.

4.Decrease Spin Angle
Reducing the circling angle during loading to the dump truck can shorten the operation cycle time, increase the amount of work per unit time, and then improve the fuel efficiency, which is the most useful way to save fuel.

5.Reduce engine speed when driving
The faster the engine goes, the more fuel it consumes while walking.

6.Performing high-level excavation
The excavator's operating platform is most efficient when it is the same as or slightly higher than the truck.
7 .When the bucket cylinder and the connecting rod, the bucket cylinder and the bucket are 90 degrees , the force of each cylinder pushing the excavator is maximum . When digging at the beginning , do not extend the bucket to the maximum working range , and the effect is best from about 80 % .

8 .Boom digging range
